| Why I use GRK Fasteners: | Greenhouses provide a challenging environment for fasteners. Additionally, the preferred wood for greenhouses, cypress, redwood, and cedar, contains tannic acid that is inhospitable to galvanized coatings. We have found the GRK stainless steel fasteners to be the superior product on the market for our needs. We use no nails in our greenhouses, only GRK stainless steel screws. The combination of the Torx drive and the alloy of the stainless steel that is harder than others on the market, minimizes the propensity for the screw to strip out or break off. We are very pleased with the GRK line; we are convinced that it is the best product on the market. |
